How to take care of your hunting dog

• To dry-clean your hunting dog, rub the hair of the animal with the baking soda and then brush it carefully and slowly. At the same time clean and deodorize. To prevent the formation of knots in the hair after shampooing, use a hair conditioner. To remove residual soap and shampoo smell too strong, add vinegar or lemon juice in the last rinse.

• If the dog loses hair when you wash, put in the bathtub drain in a strainer for tea: this will prevent it from clogging the pipes and clogged. To remove the burrs (spiny balls are those who cling to the hair), rub the hair coat with oil or chop the burrs with tweezers, and after it is easier to remove with a comb.

• If the dog smells a lot, get in a ventilated area and pour the tomato juice on the animal before the shampoo. Rinse the dog with water and ammonia (2 or 3 tablespoons in 4 liters of water) and then again with water. Another method is to flush it with water and vinegar in equal parts. Then repeat the operation a second time, but this time with less vinegar.

• To ward off fleas or other parasites from the dog, put in the doghouse a sprig of fresh pine needles. Another method is to sprinkle salt the cracks of the dog kennel or wash regularly with salt water. To give a pill to the dog, hide it in a mouthful of meat, or give it together with bits of chocolate, of which all dogs are very tasty.

• In order not to destroy their homes to the dog, there are simple things you can inspect. See the dog has a habit of biting the legs of the table and chairs, spread on the wood of the essence of cloves with a cotton ball. If the smell is not enough to ward off the dog, we think the bitter taste. To prevent damage to carpets and shoes, just give the dog chewing a empty plastic bottle thoroughly washed.

• If the dog whines probably feels the lack of a fellow or master. It’s important for women with this breed of the animal to take long walks or even better racing on the beach. If the dog gets used to wander, to apply to the collar of pieces of reflector. It’s not so easy that night will be invested by passing cars.
