Importance of healthy breakfast Indian


"Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper" is a famous proverb is very true and given the fact that 25 percent of calories should come from day breakfast. Glucose is the main energy source for the brain and the continuous supply of glucose is necessary to improve concentration, mental performance, memory and mood. Research showed that breakfast can replenish blood glucose levels in the brain.

Skipping breakfast often leads to a lack of concentration, irritability, low levels of blood sugar and a strong desire for food in mid-morning or lunch. This results in overeating and weight gain. Actually, it would be easier to control your weight by eating small meals and healthy snacks more often than skipping a meal. In India, there is a wide variety of items that are available nutritious breakfast and provide the necessary amount of energy to maintain throughout the day. Breakfast foods vary from region to region.

Let's review some of the common breakfast items. Idli and dosa - based rice and pulses, it gives a good amount of energy and protein and vegetables had with sambar if it helps with vitamins and minerals.


Upma - there are varieties of upma prepared, most of them with a meal that is rich in energy. However upma prepared with broken wheat and vegetables is very nutritious because of its fiber content.

Sandwiches - made with vegetables or shredded chicken and brown bread is a complete food containing all breakfast essential nutrients and fiber of course. For those looking to lose weight, cheese or mayonnaise should be avoided.

Omelette bread - is a protein-rich food breakfast and highly recommended especially for children, athletes and those who seek to build muscle. However, people with high cholesterol or heart problems should prepare the omelette with the egg white oats with milk and fruit - Oats gaining much popularity these days because of its high content of soluble fiber and its benefits in reducing cholesterol in the body. So oatmeal with skim milk and fresh fruit is a very good option especially for those who are on a dieting.

Stuffed parathas - if it is prepared with less oil, parathas are very nutritious and an ideal breakfast. Stuffing can be anything from potatoes, radishes, cauliflower, sprouted green gram, paneer (made from skimmed milk) and so on. Corn / rice / wheat flakes corn flakes are very popular for lunch. Now a days you have many of them available on the market that is enriched with calcium / iron or vitamins. It is very nutritious when taken with skim milk and fresh fruit. Breakfast means breaking the fast. There is no better way to start your morning than have a healthy and nutritious breakfast. With many options available now, be creative and make your breakfast as interesting as possible so that you can never skip breakfast again!
