Tips to Plan a Hike


  • Learn well in the distance, height difference, the degree of difficulty and time to walk the route chosen.
  • Plan the hike depending on physical endurance and technical skills of all participants.
  • Allow for extra time when walking with children or in groups.
  • Consider the weather.
  • Learn about opportunities for refuelling en route.
  • Do you run never alone on long routes or difficult.
  • Tell someone your itinerary and purpose. Do not forget to tell when you got the point.
Equipment

Select equipment based on the degree of difficulty, location and duration of the chosen route and taking into account their personal needs:
  • Sturdy shoes, appropriate to the type of hiking
  • Appropriate clothing according to season
  • Backpack
  • Protection against rain
  • Protection against sun (sunglasses, hat, cream) - aid kit
  • Clothes
  • Topographic map Tour
  • Compass vent
  • Mobile phone with emergency numbers
  • Pocket knife
  • Food and drink sufficient
  • Personal medication
  • Binoculars
  • Batons
For alpine hikes difficult, also carry safety equipment
